All porch lintels are supplied with cast-in threaded sockets designed to take lifting loops. Units should be lifted using either a spreader beam or two legged brothers of sufficient length to provide a 30º angle.
A slip plane is required at the stone bearing ends. The support lintel over the stone should bear outside the stone and a soft joint provided to prevent any deflection imposing a load onto the stone.
